Shed Series 2009-10

The series of work I created "Shed" captures the emotional struggles, a young woman might go through in life, such as destructive relationships, rape, abuse, motherhood, and times in life when an altering decision must be made. The work is similar to a snap shot, like you would find in a photo album, capturing the emotion by peeling off a layer of skin; each layer represents a significant moment in my life.
